Based on the way I act, am I a hipster?

See, I think you might be. My friends and I have classified it: You're a "hipster" when you try to be cool, you're just unique when it's just who you are. This one girl at our school could be considered a hipster, but she's not trying to be. She would dress the way she does and like the things she does no matter what anyone said, whether everyone did it or no one did it. And that's what makes her unique. You, on the other hand, seem obsessed with finding things no one has ever heard of TRYING to be "unique", but in a way that's what makes you not unique. Not shopping at hot topic because it's "popular"? That's exactly why you are a hipster.
