Newt Gingrich said that his & Callista's marriage is like Ron & Nancy Reagan's. Is this comparison accurate?

I have no evidence to the contrary. I have never met Newt or his wife so how could I or anyone else know if the comparison is accurate unless they were/are intimately acquainted with them? Hearsay is not fact only gossip.
